This blog is intended to support the Digital Journalism Center at the University of Maine. I teach CMJ 351 and CMJ 237. The blog title is a reference to my history of working in blacked-out basements such as Dunn Hall 001. The title is also a reference to Stephen King's story, The Crate, adapted for the screen in Creepshow. This is Stephen King country, after all.
